A casual gathering to celebrate a pair of birthdays, the Aikido Kenshin-Kai family had a blast! The heavens poured right from the beginning; barbecuing in wet weather, talk about irony! But the rain in no way dampened our moods. In fact, the downpour made us huddle closer together under what shelter we had, which in turn nudged us to get to know one another better. Though a simple affair, it was very much a warm family gathering and we all enjoyed ourselves immensely.
